I created a multilevel garden so a secret garden would reveal itself slowly. Salvaged art deco fence, 2 eras of woodard designed garden chairs. The table was an old bakers table topped with marble I found behind a plastic shower during renovation and off cuts from my kitchen counters. 80s' Yves st Laurent jacket, Gauthier top and @anthropologie garden photo skirt.

I always ask my subjects to bring an object of meaning to them. Kavita brought a Krishna that her grandmother had given to her. It sat on a beautifully embroidered exquisite blue cloth. As the Krishna brought personal meaning to the portrait, I also incorporated it into the compostion. Made large, it floats under Kavita in that expanse of blue. The magic of creating art.
